Recent new immigration laws have been introduced regarding both permits of stay for EU citizens (no longer necessary from 11/04/2007) and extra EU citizens, which need to apply for permits at the local post-office. It is necessary to get the "kit" (envelope containing forms to be filled out)from the post office which is given exclusively if one shows their passport. The cost of this is 30.00 + 27.50 + 1.00 + a further 14.62 for the official stamp
