What about homeschooling them?

They could learn so much with you as they tour the country or even just the community which you are in. As you meet people, spend time in their homes and really learn about daily life, not what's in textbooks.
We spent a semester in Costa Rica doing just that. My son learned Spanish (we also lived with a family). Attend church, shop farmer's markets etc. It could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. There is no better way to learn about a country than by living it in.dana 02 May 2009, 07:44 - Report
