Language Schools

• I can see that there is a huge range of language school options, as in this website's directory. However, where is the best area to learn English? Does the fact that Oxford and Cambridge have great universities mean that the quality of language teaching there is also high?

• South Coast

  I recommend the South Coast, e.g. Bournemouth. Especially if you are studying in the summer. Not sure how the quality of teaching varies country-wide, but for me the most important thing is location.

• Language schools

  The South Coast and London are fine if you dont mind living in a place surrounded by other foreigners. If you want to be surrounded by English language speakers you are better going to another city such a Leeds or Manchester. These places are also much cheaper than London and the south of England.
