All land-line numbers within BA begin with a 4, 5 or 6 and consist of eight digits. To call a cell phone number, 15 must be added to the front of an eight-digit number, which will begin with 4 or 5.
When calling from abroad, calling a Buenos Aires is somewhat different. Dial your country’s international dialling code followed by 54 11 and the eight-digit number. In most countries, this is 00 54, from Northern America 011 54.
