There are a considerable amount of international schools in Peru, most of which are based in the capital, Lima. The majority offer the International Baccalaureate but many follow the established Peruvian school curriculum too.
Here is a diverse list of renowned international schools in Peru with a short description of each to help you to select one which best fits your educational needs and demands.
There are enough international schools to suit the demands of numerous nationalities, with English offered in all but one of the schools in the table. The International Baccalaureate (IB) is the most commonly adopted educational system, but the IGCSE programme from Britain is offered in a couple, as well as the American AP system and the French baccalauréat.
The majority are stationed in Lima because the capital is the Peruvian hub of international commerce, and in most schools elsewhere classes will be taught in Spanish as it is the country’s official language.
