What do I do?
-
I am from an african country. Came to the UK with a valid student visa back in 2003. Did my A'levels and just before I finish, I lost my passport. Shortly after, I went to university to study a degree in biochemisty. I didnt make it a priority to get a new passport as I wasnt travelling anywhere and getting a new pasport in african can be a nightmare. As the years pass by, I got a new passport but no visa on it. I was scared the visa officers might not understand and risk deportation. So I decided to finish my degree first. Then I went on to do my masters in chemisty. Now that I have finished that, I got accepted in an irish university to do a PhD with full scholarship. I understand, to get an Irish visa, I need a valid legal status in UK (which I technically dont have). What do I do?
