How can Italian company apply for work permit?

• I have a client who is a Japanese citizen. His company wishes to transfer him to the company's subsidiary in Italy. I understand that the first step is for the Italian company to submit a work permit application with the Sportello Unico d'Immigrazione. Can anyone tell me exactly what documents the company needs to submit?
