Problems with a pregnancy whilst in Italy?
-
I have a rather unusual query. A colleagues partner was in Italy & unfortunately had a miscarriage very late on in her pregnancy (I think 6weeks before she was due) the baby was stillborn. She was in a complete state & is not aware that this was registered in anyway. When she returned to the UK she was told that she did not have to register this in the UK, She is worried that she may have done something wrong in terms of Italian law or is it that stillbirths are not always registered?
Any help would be appreciated as she is very worried & is scared to travel to Italy again until this is resolved.10 Oct 2006, 04:56 Anonymous
