Residency Permit information Please
-
Hello All!
I hope someone here can help me with my question. I came to Germany to work as an au pair, I ended up coming out here before I had all the necessary information. My employer had reassured me that everything that I have done here has been correct. But now that I understand German more, and have been looking into things myself I am beginning to doubt her. I have the proper working papers, and I registered my living status. Now when I did all this my employer did not help me much so I did it all alone, and at that time I only had basic german, so to say the least I did not understnad everything. I have been here working and thinking everything was ok, but now I am worried because I have never heard anything about a residincy permit!!! Would I have been able to obtain my visa here without it?? That would not be possible would it? Would I have applied for one and not have known that I did? Is the residency permit a sticker or stamp in your passport? If it turns out I do not have one what will happen to me? Will they make me leave the country.? Please any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
If want to play dumb do so – but straight! If you go and ask the authorities, you can't play stupid because you have doubts. If you want to have clarification without endangering your "stupid" mind then you only have the choice to hire an attorney. Like the other read said, it is a good idea to check out with the agency that brought you over here in the first place. They will surely be willing to help.Anonymous 15 Jun 2005, 11:53 - Report
