single female need to know about housing/living expenses

• i am in the negotiation stage of my working contract - they are offering 1 month free rent plus a moving bonus - but only 10% on what i currently earn - which according to my research on housing leaves me short to even pay the rent for a year.
  any advise would be highly appreciated - trying to make an educated decision about moving.......

  -accomodation (inc´luding potential utilitis, cable tv, phone, internet)
  -food and beverage

  Hello. I am Hungarian living in North America. I recently received an offer for a managers position at a mall in Dubai. The employer mentioned that I have to give over my passport and they hold it for my employment. Is this standard practice? Sounds shady to me but the offer is good.   Yes, they hold the passport - it is often common practice. But I did not think it would apply to a manager. Decline to hand in your passport as in your case that would not be necessary. It is only applicable for construction workers, drivers, cooks and maids.

  if u ask me, i will say yes to this amount, becouse u have got ur accommodation free, which will be a big cost in ur expencess.the other expencess will cover in 300dh, but i dont know currancy rate for philpino, so i cant tell u is this amount is bigger than the 15000pisco. the other think u said that the nature of job is different so i cant tell u that the job is value for the amount offer and is better than ur present job. tc, best of luck
