Income Taxes
In Canada, pretty much everyone pays some sort of tax. The most common are federal and provincial income taxes. For 2005, the tax rates can be found at the Canada Revenue Agency website.
Employment Insurance (EI)
In case of job loss at no fault of your own, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) is the governing body for allocating support payments (unemployment benefits). Go to the HRSDC website for more information.
Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
