Work Permit Application problems, please help!!!

• I'm a South Afican currently in the UK on a Working Holiday visa. I can stay in the UK for two years, but can only work for one. The time that I am able to work has now expired, and I had applied to the Home Office for a Work Permit, but they refused. They claim the position I am in does not require a university degree (which it does) and that I am that the school I'm working for did not advertise suffiently (they advertised for 4 months in the Guardian, and interviewed 12 people).
  Is there any way that I can get a visa to stay!?!?
